What a breath of fresh air you were in the show. Congratulation on your success and reaching the final four. That was absolutely fantastic. As the saying goes, you do wear your heart on your sleeve but the emotion you show is very genuine. When the tears appear your usually smiling and laughing. But what about that smile. That would melt the toughest of critic. For the others in the house, if they woke feeling down they only need to look at your smile and it’s infectousnness. I had tears running down my cheeks last night watching your elimination and your arrival home.

Just want you to know there are plenty of people who loved your MC experience, I don’t understand the negative attitude towards you from some of the viewers.
To me you were the last bright spark there, the last bit of vibrancy and energy. I love your optimistic positive outlook, and I loved your imaginative cooking.
I have hated every elimination since Billy – Hayden, Ellie, you – all the cheery, bubbly, fun people are gone ( I loved Peter and Kumar too, they seemed so sweet).
Don’t let the negative people get to you, your too much fun for that.
(Oh and what is your heritage, just curious as I’m part Chinese)

Hey dani, well done to you. We barely missed an episode of Masterchef and honestly dont envy you or any of the other contestants, or for that matter, the judges. Dani, So you’re opening an Asian store for shy white people aye? I noticed in your discussion today on the papers website that you’d be opening an asian store where people “can ask about ingredients” You do realise that the owners of 99% of them are approachable and knowledgable dont you?
Also its like in your head no one but budding home cooks like yourself read recipes at home and go out to target specific ingredients without needing any help anyway.

Dani, I loved your ways of cooking in MC. I enjoyed the way you cooked the Sri Lankan dish when his Holiness Dalai Lama came to MC. Why are you more interested to have a Asian food shop rather than other types of shops? Wish you all the best to your future.
I love Asian cooking, especially Vietnamese, Thai and Sri Lankan. I love the diversity in the flavours, cooking methods and I think the best food in the world comes from Asia.

Hi Dani, am constantly amazed at the dishes you and your fellow MC contestants were able to produce within the time constraints. That alone sets you way above us mere mortal home cooks. I was particularly curious to know your roti recipe. The rotis looked great and were judged well. If we weren’t already in love with you then those curries with roti sealed the deal. All recipes I’ve seen require the dough to rest overnight at least. Will you be putting your recipe up anytime?
I am glad you liked the Sri Lankan curry. The rotis that I made I only rested for about 2 hours in the challenge, but I would usually rest them for maybe 3 or 4. But in saying that, they turned out really well with only 2 hours resting. I will put up this recipe soon for you to try! Thanks.
Hi Danii, sorry if I spelt your name wrong. I was watching you all the way on masterchef and I know you cook better than the girl with long black hair. You should of concentrated on your three dishes and cooked what you’ ve known setting it to how you grew up, and be more organised sorry to say, then you could of made it to the top three.
I had faith in you, I would know you would be the no. 1 masterchef, I hope you the best. You cook way better than those other three wish you could of think on your feet quicker oh wells.
